Adult Christian Education and ForumsAnglicanism promotes the use of critical thinking and this is applied here at St. Anselm's to our way of doing Bible Study, and Christian Education. These are open to all persons seeking a deeper understanding of the biblical texts, and their personal faith. It is especially for people who do not want to sacrifice their integrity, intelligence, or sense of critical thinking, but still want to grow in faith. Often we find we have more questions than answers, but through the paradox of these questions, we draw closer to God, and grace is experienced. Bible study here at St. Anselm's is not for the faint of heart; we tackle hard questions and we're not satisfied with easy answers. For a schedule of meeting times, please see the parish Sunday Bulletin, or call the parish office. |
