Children are important to us here at St. Anselm's, and their Christian education is a top priority. To that end we have two atriums, where children meet on Sundays to nurture their spiritual lives. Parents are invited to assist in the atriums under the direction of our catechists.

The program does not emphasize cognitive learning and memorization; rather it taps into the child's already innate spirituality, and builds on an intuitive process whereby the child is introduced to Christ as the Good Shepherd.

A votive candle stand with a painting of the Christ Child as the Good Shepherd is located in the interior of the church and dedicated to the children of the parish.
